odd effect when importing powerpoint into storyline

Sep 18, 2017

Hi, I'm working with a trial version and trying to assess whether articulate 360 is right for me.

I imported a slide deck as a scene into a project.  The content of the slide shows up ok.  But for the title, it seems to grab a screenshot of the entire slide and compress it into the frame for the title.  So it's unusable as is.

Is there a way to make it import powerpoint correctly?  I've attached screenshots of the original slide and how it shows up in storyline.

Thanks for your help!  We use the template this presentation is based on almost exclusively so it's very important I can easily bring in slides to storyline.

Hi Kevin,

Importing PowerPoint content into Articulate Storyline isn't an exact one-to-one conversion. As a result, imported text may not look the same way it does in PowerPoint.

You may find some variations in font size, line spacing, alignment, colors, or bullets. If these changes are undesirable, you'll need to make adjustments after importing content, using Storyline's font and paragraph tools.

Storyline doesn’t currently support all the text formatting features in PowerPoint.

You may want to check in here, to know more about importing PowerPoint to Storyline.

Thanks,
