odd glow on button hover

I am experiencing something a bit peculiar with a hover state in a check button (standard Storyline button). Basically when I hover over the button the check box itself is surrounded by a red glow. I've checked all the formatting options, including glow, shadow etc but I can't see why the glow is appearing. Especially as when you preview the state in the state thumbnails the glow doesn't appear.
I've attached a one slider containing the buttons that are displaying this odd behaviour...!

Greg,
Check your color scheme. Accent 5 is the hover glow color. So, choose a different accent color for your red, and set Accent 5 to a neutral color for the glow. I don't see a way to get rid of the glow, but you can make it less obvious.
thank you! I honestly thought I was going mad!! Not sure why you'd want the glow to appear by default with no way of turning it off as such...but there again I'd never noticed it until I started developing this course so maybe it's not such a biggie!!
Hi Greg,
I believe the intention of the hover state is to help the user know that they can click on it and that it's a "live" button. As Meryem mentioned, you can change the default color for your hover state - so hopefully that helps give you the set up you'd like. For more information on theme colors and adjusting them, please review this tutorial.
