I have a client who would like to use a Storyline module from our website as a presentation however, internet connection at the venue is very poor. He has asked if there is any way we can provide an "offline" version that he can use.
Is there any way for this to be done other than the iPad option?
I would be very grateful if anyone can help with this.
A few ways to do this. If on Windows, the best way is to publish to CD. This will bundle the HTML output with an EXE that will help the file to run locally without running into security blocks.
Hi Steve - thanks for the lightning fast response!
Have published the file to CD and can see the EXE file you referred to.
I presume that I now need to have some sort of program to burn this information to CD? Is there a good free program available? (Apologies for my appalling lack of technical knowledge) and,
Do I need to burn all files in the folder to CD or just the EXE file?
Hi Ingrid. All recent version of Windows support burning to CD. You'll need to select all of the files in the folder along with the EXE. You can drag these to your CD Drive. Then right-click the drive icon and choose burn to disk.
