Old codger learning Storyline vs. Presenter

Jul 23, 2015

Hi,

I'm an old codger that is semi-retired and my employer is letting me work on some special projects before I cut the cord entirely. I've used Presenter and recorded audio with it and create fairly simple e-learning modules that way. We've hired a new person that we want to take over my Studio 13 license, and have me keep the Storyline, at least until I'm done with my special projects.

Can Storyline pretty much do everything I did in Presenter, such as take an existing PPT that doesn't have audio; add audio to it and make the necessary changes to the slides etc., then add a Quizmaker file and zip it up just like I did with Presenter? I see that Storyline has a questioning function- is that integral to Storyline and I don't need Quizmaker to create quizzes? Or can I create graded quizzes from within Storyline and I can give up my Quizmaker license to the newly hired person as well? Or would we be better off letting the new person have the Storyline license, and I keep my Studio license? It seems from what I've read that the Storyline is fairly easy to learn....

Thanks! Jerry Carden, Urbana, IL
