I'm developing a course and the client wants on screen navigation text to tell the learner to click to continue/click the resource tab/etc.. Does anyone have a creative way to add something like this? I want it to be subtle enough that it can be on every screen if need be and doesn't take away from the content that they're supposed to be learning.
Regarding the "click to continue" prompt and making it subtle...I created an instructional video a while back that shows how to insert a prompt at the end of the slide ONLY if Learners haven't clicked "on their own." Perhaps it will meet your needs.
As far as a subtle prompt about clicking the Resources tab, I'm not sure exactly how you'd direct them, but here's something I've done when I want information to appear on the screen but not be in the way.
I've inserted a button that I've formatted using the approach suggested by Super Hero Phil Mayor on this thread
Then, I've inserted a text box with the information I want to share with the Learners, and have set the text box initial state to hidden.
Next, I've added a trigger to change the state of the text box to Normal when the user hovers over the button. And I've left the default "restore on mouse leave" checkbox checked.
Refer to attached, and please shout out with any questions.
