On Stage Animation Menu
Apr 02, 2013
I have been looking around and have found a great example of an e-learning module:
https://www.kineo.com/demos/mcd_artic_demo/mcd_demo/player.html
On page 2 of the example the menu animation accordion starts and ends on the stage, rather than flying in from somewhere it starts at X and finishes at Y. Essentially the animation starts and ends on the stage.
Can someone explain how this is achieved? Is it JavaScript?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi Richard,
This is the (often-shown...) McDonalds course from Kineo.
It is built in Articulate Presenter rather than Storyline - so probably just standard animation within a Kineo SDK-modified player/stage area - not sure it would need JavaScript.
Maybe some Kineo will chime in and explain the exact mechanics...?

Ah, i see.
Thanks for your reply Bruce
Hi Richard
Slide 2 of the demo is actually an Engage interaction - it's the FAQ interaction with a custom colour scheme and set within a customised player.
If you have Engage you could import one into Storyline as long as your playback device if compatible with the Flash output.

...very true!
