One Multiple Choice Question
Aug 26, 2013
Hey Articulate Friends!
We are working on implementing a new LMS, so we created a quick one-question beta course. However, it seems to be failing in SCORM Cloud due to the multiple choice settings. The quiz has a passing score of 100%, but in reality the participant will get 100% or a zero. We cannot see any reason why the course does not function in the Cloud. Does anyone know what I have to do to correct this? Do I need to place the quiz into a different format such as T/F?
Thanks in advance!
Danielle

Hi Danielle,
I just tried this myself, and made one multiple choice quiz question, passing result at 100%, and loaded it into SCORM Cloud without any problems (it is linked here for you). The quiz worked, and I got a Complete result as below.
Are you able to share the .story example you made here?
Thanks Ashley!
I really appreciate your help! So I have gotten the course to work in SCORM Cloud but it no longer calculates the score. In either case the course should work for the testing we need to do. However, I will keep looking into this as we will need courses to calculate in the future – we are pretty new to Storyline. So again - thank you so much for helping me!! Please let me know if you have additional insight to this topic, or a link that would help and I can go research it myself. Have a great day!
Thanks!
Danielle
Hi Danielle,
If you'd like to share the .story file here or send it to us privately we can look at what's happening with the score. I know you mentioned, that you set the passing score to 100%, and so they either get 100% or 0 - did you set a points value to the individual question? I've seen it happen before, where if there was no points value it wouldn't report a score (granted, there was a way around it)
What was the final solution?
Hi Marie-Pierre,
I don't see that Danielle ever shared her file with us. But this was about 2 years ago as well - if you're running into an issue now we'd likely want to take a look at the file, know what update/version of Storyline you're using, where you're hosting the content, etc.? You can share that here, start a new thread or reach out to our support engineers.
