One set of files, multiple courses by extraction?
Aug 31, 2016
Hi all,
I'm new to the community and to Articulate, so please be patient with me!
I'm hoping to design a suite of e-learning courses that can be quickly modified according to specific business requirements at the time. Let's say we have 25 pages available for a course. Sometimes, I might want to publish all 25 to SCORM and deploy it through the LMS. Later on, things might change and we only need pages 1, 2, 3, 7, 12, 21 and 25. Would it be relatively simple to extract those specific pages for the course? Our department hires temporary staff to undertake specific business requirements at various times. It will always be a blend of brand new people and some with previous experience. Because the business deliverable will alternate, I don't want to have to maintain several versions of the content. I want to have some 'stable' pieces and then be able to select varying pages to suit the deliverable at that time.
I hope that makes sense! Any advice gratefully received :)

Hi Sarah
you could create a new project file and import the slides in to the pared down project then publish and upload.
See this tutorial about importing slides from one SL project to another
That's exactly what I was after! Thanks Wendy - your quick response is most appreciated!
Cheers,
Sarah
