I am trying to put together a game in Storyline with a "live" scoreboard where correct answers are "tallied" as the learner advances through the game. My plan is to create the questions and feedback using the quizzing function. My question is how do I get the scores to have a running total? I've been playing around with variables and triggers, but can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the link, Peter. I did see that yesterday but I am not sure it will work with my client. I am creating a program that my client will re-sell to their clients, so deployement will be not only from the client's website, but also from THEIR end client's LMS programs. (Complicated, I know.)
I did try to WordPress code yesterday on the client website, and it didn't work. So, I may have to look at scaling back the game and not get so fancy with the scoring.

Hey Vicki!
Not sure how you're hosting your content, but Keith came through with a fantastic leaderboard example for Wordpress over here.
Hope it helps get the ideas flowing

Gotcha. Would love to hear about it if you can come up with something.
Good luck!
Vicki,
Doing scoring inside a course is fairly straight forward using a number variable. Basic gist:
1. Create a number variable
2. On each quiz question, you'll add a trigger (say, tied to the submit button) that will evaluate the answer and...
3. Adjust the number variable based upon whether the answer is correct, incorrect, etc.
