Online Courses Download

Jul 06, 2013

Hi,

I am starting up an E-Learning services website. Most of the courses that I will sell online are authored on Articulate, once the users pay they'll get access to the courses. But the thing that concerns me is that will they be able to download the same course that plays in the browser on their local hard drive ?  If yes then how to protect it from being downloaded..?

Any content displayed in a browser window is downloaded to a user's hard drive (even if it is just to IE's temp folder). A determined user could use that 'offline content'. As far as I know, there is no way to prevent that for browser-based content. For HTML5-based content for the Articulate Mobile Player app though, you can uncheck the 'Allow downloading for offline viewing' option in the Publish dialog.
