Only One Question From Question Bank shows in Preview

Hi,

I have created some multi choice questions which consist of assessing up to 10 photos and then allocating an answer of A, B, C or D depending on what the user thinks. The questions consist of the multi choice question as the base layer and each photo as a slide layer. When you assess these individually they work perfectly.

I am now trying to insert them into a quiz format where users assess up to 20 groups of photos using the question banks. The problem I am having is that when I preview the questions only one question shows up.

I thought maybe the size of the questions may be the problem so I created question banks of just one question each and inserted each work bank as a slide. Once again only the first question worked.

Getting to this point has been a fun experience and there always seems to be a mystery button that I have missed. In this case is it possible I have missed a button which enables more than one question to be answered.

Any thoughts would be most helpful.

Hi Adrian! It sounds like all of your quiz questions are not included in the question draw. Try this:

  1. Go to the Slides tab on the ribbon, click Question Banks, and choose New Draw from Question Bank.
  2. Use the Include drop-down to choose how many questions you want to draw from the bank. If you want to include all questions, choose All. 
  3. Use the Include in Shuffle column in the question grid to decide whether each question will be Randomly displayed (which is the default option), Never displayed, or Always displayed in this particular question draw.

Thanks for your response.

Unfortunately what you suggested didn't work for me. It provides the first question totally and then the first slide and one layer of the second question. The second question has five layers.

I am wondering if it is the set up of my questions. As mentioned previously I have inserted multiple layers consisting of photographs on each slide which has made them quite big in terms of MB. I did create 10 question banks with one question only and inserted each one on a separate slide. When I previewed it that arrangement it again only showed the first question. Maybe I am the using preview function wrong.

For each of my questions I have confirmed that they work using the Preview for one slide function.

I have also created a question bank of questions with no layers and when I inserted them into my 'Story' all questions appeared.
