Onscreen objects states remains visited when revisiting the slide using previous button.

Mar 08, 2019

Hi,

I have multiple objects on one of my slides. Each object has a slide layer and objects state changes to visited once the user visits the slide layer.

Now, the problem is that if I come back to this slide using the previous button, all objects on the slide remains in visited states instead of the normal state.

I tried "Reset to Initial state" option on the base layer, then as I come out from the slide layer, base layer start playing from the beginning.

Just wondering if anyone can advise. Thanks!

Hi Umesh,

Using the "Reset to Initial state" option on the base layer is a good start.

Next, do you have a "Jump to slide [current slide] when user clicks the Close button" trigger on the slide layer? If so, you'll want to remove that trigger since it's causing the slide to restart each time you go back to it.

Instead, use this trigger: "Hide layer this layer when the user clicks the Close button".

Let me know if that helps you!
