I have to make an exam that tests a students ability to find information in a manual. Therefore, the exam has to be open book(PDF).
Is there a way of making a scrollable pdf in one half of the storyline window and the test questions in a second half of the window? I envision splitting the window vertically.
I am trying to eliminate the need to have students download the PDF then have a second window open outside of the LMS.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you'd like to do! I imagine having split screens could potentially make the screen very busy or make you squeeze a lot of information together.
Have you considered saving the .pdf as a .png image, and then inserting in a scrolling panel on a slide layer that the learner can show/hide then return to the question? Hopefully others in the community can chime in with their alternatives to opening a new window.

Thanks Ren! That is an interesting idea. I will see if I can figure out how to do that on a slide layer =)
