I am trying to open stories made by others to add in some new features. I have content folders from the published version full of content but can't find the actual story. Help?
you won't (normally) find the source file in the published folder. It will be similar to this and have the file extension .story - depends where the previous developer had it stored.
so in my case, I have the files, how do I get Storyline to open them so I can work on them? I want to take 2020 Frame changed to 2021 or even take the year off so I can generically leave it alone.

You can change the title of your project under Player Properties:
Let me know if this helps!
