We have taken earlier advice and our Storyline tutorial now links to a series of individual Storyline resources as web-objects. It all works fine on a PC but we have problems when opening on an iPad; it asks for the App to be downloaded each time a web-object is accessed even though the App is installed and updated. Any ideas? (the tutorial can be found at: http://library.leeds.ac.uk/tutorials/employability/ )
By any chance are you using web objects set for full screen mode? These can interfere with the Mobile Player and may cause some problems. If you are using this option, try disabling it and see if that makes a difference.
If you're still seeing this, can you tell me what type of web objects you're using, or can you share your project's .story file here?
Thanks for your reply. The webobjects are StoryLine files. The aim is to use the resources indepently and within the tutorial (i.e. only have one version of each). I have attached the Story file (I think).
So sorry I wasn't able to get back to you yesterday. I did take a look at the files for web, they worked fine like you said. Unfortunately, I'm not able to test this on my iPad. Would you mind submitting the course directly to our support team, so they can test the files for you and see what the issue may be?
