We have a user who just installed the Storyline 2 onto his new Dell laptop. When he opens the program all the windows are TOO SMALL and the fonts are TOO SMALL to read. Changing the screen resolution and font size does not help with this program. Is this a JAVA-based program? We've had similar issues with JAVA-based browser programs on-campus.
I use a Windows 8.1 system and am able to see things with the DPI setting changed, although it was definitely an adjustment for my eyes. Could you share some images of what this looks like on your system with other programs or things like the taskbar visible as well?
Also just an FYI that responding via email includes your signature here as well and you can edit/update the thread to remove that information if you wish.

I would make sure that your laptops Font DPI is set to 100% and then adjust your screen resolution down a bit to something like - 1366x768
We did try both of these, but with the same result.
Thanks,
Royce

Hi Royce,
You can also read more here about how to change the DPI setting.
Tried that, too. This is on a Windows 8.1 Pro, Dell laptop. I’ve had similar issues with other JAVA-based programs.
Thanks,
Royce
