I am embedding a video clip into a SL2 slide. The original video was shot in HD (1920x1040). Is there an optimum size the video should be rendered to for Storyline playback performance?
The video won't be played back at 1040, so would it be better to render it at a smaller size (720 for example) to make a physically smaller file size before embedding?

I always find I get the best results if i render the video for the same size I'm embedding it.
Makes sense, smaller file size. I wasn't sure if there was some magic size that worked best. Thanks.
IMO the magic happens when you don't have to scale the size up/down, which tends to degrade the quality.
I totally agree with Brian's comments.
Much appreciated.
