Option Selections
Jul 16, 2015
I have a request to allow a user to select as many options (up to 18) on where they spend most of their time and then generate a response based on their feedback. They are looking for a difference between manager/leader so if they are spending more time on the management side, I'd generate a response of some kind that would tell them to work on balancing their leadership side (or something like that). I can work on the feedback piece, but I'm not sure of the best way to allow the user to select their preferences. Is there a type of quiz I should create? Or is there a better way to set this up? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could use two groups of radio buttons, assign a variable value to each button in a group, and display feedback based on which group's variable has a higher value.
Hi Jenna! Looks like Michael has jumped in to assist you here, just let us know if you need anything further.
Thanks, Michael! I'll give that a try!
I end up getting it to do exactly what I needed to with check boxes. For manager, I assigned a value of 1 and for leader, I assigned a value of -1 and created a layer for each response based on when the user clicks submit. if the value was greater than 0, it displayed manager, if it was less than 0 it displayed leader, etc. Thanks for getting me down the right path!
Thanks so much for the update, Jenna -- glad to hear you received the assistance you needed! :)
