The simplest way is to place two characters on a slide. Then assign a trigger to each of them that "Jump to Slide #" to where you want the learners to go.
Thanks Kevin - that does answer my question, however, does it mean that I will have to design 2 courses running parallel - i.e. one with the 1st character and one with the 2nd.........
Hi, not sure if I have understood correctly, but an alternative idea if you do not wish to have two courses running in parallel is to use variables to modify the state of a character.
I have attached two examples- one uses the slide master to achieve this effect and example 2 is just on the normal slides. Suppose each could be used for different purposes, but if you want the characters to change on every slide- eg where they are, expressions etc, then the second example may be better.
If you have a look at the variable %Gender% and the way the triggers are set up, you should be able to figure it out.
Basically by using radio buttons, the user would select the character they want to be, this would then change the %gender% variable, so that on every slide as the timeline starts, the character on that slide would change state to 'normal' if it matches the variable- be it either 'male' or 'female'.

Hi Suzanne,
Yes, it is possible.

Does that answer your question?
Hi Suzanne! Looks like Kevin is taking care of you here, just let us know if you need anything further.
Thanks Kevin

And apologies for the crude example.
Hope that helps
And the other one...
Hi Suzanne,
David Anderson has a great post about this here with demo and source files for individual slides or masters using text variables or T/F variables.
Thanks Will and Becky for sharing those! Suzanne, let us know if you need anything else!
