I am wondering if there is a way to have the menu show but the items on the menu are disabled, i.e. the learner can't use them to jump forward through the content?
You can restrict or lock navigation in an Articulate Storyline course to prevent learners from skipping ahead without actually finishing the content. Here's how.
Thanks for reaching out here, great question! By default, the navigation method in Storyline 2 defaults to Free, meaning users can view the slides in any order. It sounds like what you would like is for the navigation to be Locked. Check out this tutorial in the Restricting Navigation section for how to accomplish this in the player menu settings. Hope that helps! :)
I am amazed almost every question i have is already answered. If Tool Book had such an incredible user group it likely would not have died. I still use ToolBook 11.5 for one of the world's largest oil companies but that's all now. Articulate 360 Review is so fantastic I terminated my Captivate subscription . And I am pretty darn good with Captivate.
