Hi Tom!

Articulate Storyline requires Microsoft Windows to be configured with 96 DPI (dots per inch). If Windows is using a different DPI setting, you may experience erratic behavior, such as:

*  Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.
*  Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.
*  Zoomed images don't work as expected.
*  Font sizes are incorrect after using the translation features.

Hi, Tom -- Thanks for your response! Would it be possible for us to take a closer look at your file itself, please? I happen to be working on a Macbook Pro, and have Windows 7 running in one of my VMs using VMware Fusion, so I would be glad to let you know if I encounter similar behavior.

Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom right corner and browse/upload your file from there. :)

Hi Christie,

I would be happy to upload a file, but this is happening on all files I open in Storyline 2, even brand new blank files, so I do not think it would help unfortunately.

I've attached a screenshot of the Player Properties menu, you will notice the 'Other' button with the cog is missing.

Thanks,

Tom

I see, Tom -- Thanks so much for the clarifications, and beyond what Leslie already mentioned regarding 96 DPI and issues related to using a SurfacePro, this might be one for our Support Engineers to investigate further. I will go ahead and create and submit a support ticket on your behalf and you will be hearing from one of our Engineers as soon as they have had a chance to review your case.

I intend to follow along with their progress and will share updates here for those who may encounter a similar issue and come across this thread seeking answers. Your patience is appreciated! :)

Sure thing, Tom, and I wanted to note here that your case (#00721290) has been received in our ticketing system. You should be receiving a confirmation message to that effect via the email address we currently have on file in our system momentarily.

If you should not receive this confirmation, please check your SPAM folder, or let us know, and we will track down the issue! :)
