I've had this issue when I've had the slide set to "Fit to Screen" in Storyline. Try setting the zoom to 100% when editing the slide to view the most accurate text spacing, alignment, etc.
Thanks for the answer. I still have the same problem. I even rebuild the PNG into Storyline and typed the text directly in the Storyline object. Still the same problem.
Could it be something with the resolution. My monitor is 1024 x 1024. Story size is 960 x 559.. I donot use the player options.

I hope this helps!

Peter,
I'm running two different monitors at two different resolutions and can't reproduce this on my end.
Maybe a silly question, but have you tried different fonts to see if the behavior is the same?
Mike
Hi Mike,
Yep I tried different font sizes and different fonts. Typical is that I also "miss" space at the bottom and on the right side.
When you look at the next two pictures you will also see a difference in the pixels at the bottom.
The first picture is a screen shot of the edit mode in Storyline.
The second is of the preview.
The white space between the letters and the grey line is different.
Could it be something with the story size?
Peter,
The slide getting cut off seems to be related to a known issue. I think that may be what's happening with the slide. Here's a knowledge base article: http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=cxt3ver1sdfx
Not sure if that's the issue here, but it may be worth trying.
