Overlapping Audio Files on a Slide

I recently recorded audio files (from mic) in Storyline for each slide. Everything worked fine. Later I came back in to make a few audio edits to a couple of the slides. When I went back to Sound --> Record it said there was no audio recorded. So, I recorded the new audio for the slide and published. When I view the output I now hear both audio files being played when I go to those slides where I had updates to the audio. Anyone know how I can resolve this? Each time I go back to those slides it shows no audio recorded.

Hello Eric,
When you say it says "no audio recorded" - is that an error message that pops up? What generates the error message?
Maybe you can check if there are other layers on the slide and see if anything shows on the Timeline.

Hi Donna,
No, it's not an error message. It's just the regular view of the 'Record Microphone' dialog that pops up. Doesn't give any way of seeing what was previously recorded so I can delete the old and record a new one.
Oh.. I don't think you can really check it there. When you save the audio, it automatically loads it onto the slide itself.
You have to go to the actual timeline of the slide. Have you checked what's the timeline of your slide?
No, where do I go to see the timeline for a slide?
Nevermind....I found it. New to Storyline so an obvious newbie mistake.
Thanks for your help Donna!
