There is a situation: I have a course with 80% as a passing score. After the user takes 80% the course status is set as completed and it shows 80% as a user score on lms. Then the user decides to improve this score even if the course is passed. User retakes the course from the beginning and got 100%. But after closing the course the lms still shows 80%. It looks like it does not allow the user to improve the score once the course has been completed. Is this something we can fix in Storyline or is this an LMS setting?
Most learning management systems (LMSs) consider a course to be in review mode after meeting the tracking requirement. In review mode, resume data is no longer sent to the LMS, which prevents learners from accidentally changing their course status from complete back to incomplete or change their score.
You may be able to change it using the steps outlined here, but I'd also touch base with your LMS admin to see if there is a setting on their side to account for score changes.
