After the learner completes a section in the course and returns to the menu part of the narration for the menu slide repeats itself. This happens every time the user returns to the menu. Any suggestions on how to fix will be appreciated!
Try adding a true/false variable to stop the audio from playing when the user revisits the menu screen.
1. On the triggers panel you should see an icon that looks like a x on a screen. Click this icon and add the true/false variable and set the default value to False. You can call the variable anything you want. I'll call it menuAuto in this example.
2. On the menu slide, add a trigger to adjust the variable menuAuto to True when the *media completes.
3. Add a slide level trigger to stop the *media when the timeline starts if menuAuto is equal to True.
*the media is the audio file for the narration you want to stop.
Thanks for your reply. I have tried your suggestions several times and it is still playing. It only replays the very last two words on the voice part on the menu slide. Any other suggestions?
Sorry to hear that this is still causing an issue for you. Any way you would be able to share the .story file (even a sample would do) so that we can take a look?

Hope this makes sense!

Hey Michelle,

It might be the slide properties. Try setting the "revisit" property to "reset to initial state."
If that does not work then I'd have to see the .story file to take a look at how you have set things up.
