Path or File Name not found

Dec 16, 2016

Hi all, Panic mode.....I completed a draft of a short course, published and saved it to My Articulate Projects. Also uploaded it to SCORM Cloud and it worked fine. Took my laptop home and when I tried opening it to do some edits I got the subject line message.

It is in My Articulate Projects folder as a zip but the Story is not in the Story Folder.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi Brian, so sorry to hear that - it's never a good feeling when you see that kind of error message. Have you tried checking your temporary folders to see if you can locate a version of your file there? Here's how:

1) Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline

2) Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop.

3) Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.

4) Double-click the file to open it in Storyline.

Let me know if that works, or if we need to investigate further!
