Path Question

Jun 19, 2019

I apologize if this is an easy question, but I'm pretty new and don't even know the vocab needed to search for this answer.

I have a two main paths to my lesson; students can choose which they'd like to do first. When they reach the end of either path, it takes them back to the first slide where they can finish the other.

I'm hoping to have some kind of end review slide, but the students need to complete both main paths before they can do the review. I'm not sure how to let them choose the order of the paths while forcing them into the review after completing both, but not before.

Hi Kathryn,

First I would set up three scenes, Path1, Path2 and Review (alternatively, you could add the Review slide to the end of Path2).

If you now set up two True/False variables for Path1Complete and Path2Complete, which are both initially False, you can then have an option at the end of each path to either jump to the start of the next path if that path's variable is still showing False (i.e. it has not yet been completed) or jump to the Review slide if the other path's variable is True (i.e. both paths have been completed).

The first trigger needs to set the current path's variable to True when the Next button is clicked and that is then followed by the two triggers to determine which slide the user is jumped to:
