I am using more layers and on my base layer I have added some triggers to show these layers when timeline starts. When I follow the above approach, after I pause the scene it opens the layer pause, on the layer pause I have the button play, like described. This will hide the layer pause again. But due above all my other triggers to open other layers are not working anymore. i have separate layers for navigation and audio.....
Have you tried moving these triggers to the top of the Trigger Panel? If you have multiple triggers for the same layer, then make sure "Show Layer" and "Hide Layer" triggers are at the top.
