PAUSE BUTTON ON A SLIDE WITH MULTIPLE LAYERS

Nov 10, 2016

I am trying to get a PAUSE button to work on a slide with multiple layers.  I have added a PAUSE layer and have selected "Pause timeline of base," but the PAUSE button seems to have no effect on my layers when viewing.  Once I pause it, I am unable to PLAY it again.  I also created PLAY button within my PAUSE layer and set the trigger to "hide this layer when the user clicks this button." I need my PAUSE/PLAY to function throughout my entire slide.  Thanks ahead!

Hi there Kara! Thanks so much for being patient with me while I played around with your file. I sent you a reply to your case that includes the updated file. What are your thoughts on removing the 'Pause' layer completely and using the pause button in the course player? The trick to making that work is adjusting the settings on each layer to Allow seeking: Yes.

With this setting, each layer has it's own seekbar, and the slide can be paused at any time.

Take a look at the file I sent you, and let me know what you think. If this doesn't fit what you were looking to do, we'll keep at it!
