I am currently working on a course with a second audio source, which describes certain parts of the page if the user clicks a Play button. This audio file is not linked to the timeline.
If the user clicks the Play button it changes its state to hidden and the sound will start. With the same click a hidden Pause Button will show up.
Now if the user clicks Pause and then Play again, the audio file should continue where it was paused. But this works only in the Preview in Articulate. If I publish the project as html, open it in the browser and click pause/play, the sound will always start from the beginning.
Hi, Julian -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! First, may I ask if you can confirm that you are finding the same behavior when you test your course in the intended environment, as well?
As stated in the article, "If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail."
