Pause Points and Resume Points
Oct 04, 2016
I am creating a module where a user/viewer must watch a lengthy video to its completion five full times to successfully complete the module. The video viewed is approximately 90 minutes. The module automatically pauses the video at certain points of interest, (via cue points) and the user clicks to resume the video. The "resume to where left-off" or prompt to resume feature is activated. When tested through SCORM Cloud, after exiting the presentation, I am prompted to resume the presentation where I left off, but it returns the user to the very beginning of the video rather than where they stopped viewing. Is there a way to more precisely return the user to a point where they exited the program. I am trying to keep the video contiguous, rather than cutting it up at the points of interest, and inserting into individual subsequent slides. Any thought?

Hi Terence!
It's not currently possible to bookmark a resume point within a video and it sounds like you know your other options.
Hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in with assistance.
Thanks so much, Leslie. Much appreciated.
