Is there any way to put an active timeline onto a Lightbox slide? I am trying to allow my user to back up and pause the slide to help them through the course, but I cannot find where the option is to turn on the timeline.
Hi Terry! This feature is not available by default, but what you could do is add some custom buttons into the lightbox slide that will pause, play or replay the media.
I got it! Thanks to Annette Srisaguan. She looked at my slide and found that using two buttons that toggle each others hidden state and paused and played the timeline fixed the issue.

Leslie,
Thats a great idea. Thank you!
No problem Terry :)
so here is the next step:
I can put a button on the slides, and name it "Pause". I edited the states to show that in the selected state, the button reads "play".
I have 4 triggers:
To pause the timeline when user clicks "pause" on condition that the state is normal,
To change the state to selected when user clicks "pause"on condition that the state is normal,
Resume timeline when user clicks "pause" on condition the state is selected and,
Change state of "pause" to normal when user click on condition that the state is selected.
I have removed all other states. but it doesnt ever change states the first time, and I can't restartthe timeline.
Any hints?
here is a screen shot of my slide and the triggers and states. as well as a .story file to play with.

I am lucky to know her.
Ha! She must be stealthy too :) Glad you were able to get this sorted Terry and thanks for the update :)
I know her personally, as she helped me develop the course. Although she works at a different Agency in WA, we still work together.
Sounds like a valuable resource :)
Extremely valuable.
