So basically, I have a slide with a screen recording playing and I'd like it to stop playing if the person clicks on a different tab on the IE browser. Then the person can continue playing the video when they return to the tab with the play button.
This thread is a bit old but we are having the same issue with our audio, The timeline for the frame stops when the user clicks to a new tab, but the audio keeps playing, then when the audio is complete, if the user returns to the tab the module is playing on the timeline then resumes and the user has to wait.
Hi Christian, sorry that's plaguing you! We're seeing this too, and we're working to find a solution. I'd like to add your experience to our report--what version of Storyline are you using?

Hi Orlando,
There isn't a way to pause the video if the user has clicked outside the browser window - as Storyline isn't able to track those clicks.
Thank you Ashley.
