I have a course that both has music and narration across layers. The music is on the base layer. When I click pause on the seek bar on any of the layers the narration stops, but the music continues to play. How can I pause the music and the narration on each of the layers? Thanks so much.
What slide layer and base slide settings do you have enabled in the slide properties? The slide layers can have their own seekbar enabled, and therefore the pause/play and seeking would be independent of the base slide layer.
If you'd like to share a copy of your .story file someone in the ELH community may be able to help with alternative ideas and we can share a link to the tutorials on adjusting the slide and layer properties.
I finally turned the seek bar off on the player, so that they can no longer pause. However, before turning off the seek bar off the Seekbar was checked under the controls.
It doesn’t make sense to me, that though all the music is on the base slide that when I pause the course, to perhaps answer a call, that the music continues to play but the narration stops.
Unfortunately, I am not able to send you the course; all that pesky company security.
Your slide layer looks to be set with separate seeking - do you see that appear when viewing the course? I'd love to take a look at your actual .story file to test out a few things and try to experience what you're hearing. Can you share that with us too?
