Pausing sub layers instead of base layer

Mar 14, 2014

I'm creating a fairly elaborate course. On several slide I have been able to create a pause/play button that targets the base layer to pause, then resumes on play. However, I have already created several other slides that are built as follows.

The base layer contains a, b, and c buttons and no audio. When a user clicks any of these buttons a new layer that contains audio and buttons is loaded on top of the base layer and plays. I'm trying to implement a play/pause on the newly loaded layer. Using my previous technique I can only target the base layer.

Any ideas?

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking to do. Could you upload a slide that demonstrates this?

In the interim, I'll make an assumption that may at least start the conversation.

I put together a little story that has an A layer and a B layer. Both layers have audio and a bit of animation. On both layers the Slide Layer Properties Revisits are set to Resume Saved State revisiting.
