I want my video to pause at a specific point. I don't want to add a pause button, I just want it to pause when it reaches a certain time. And once it's paused I want a resume button to pop up.
Darragh, just for variety here is a slightly different option that shows a layer once the offstage object 'kicks in'. The layer is set to pause the baselayer's timeline and the "Resume' Button simply hides the layer, see the setup below. Here is a quick sample.

I think this will work - at least it did for me in a quick test.
My trigger order, top to bottom, is:
Play media trigger (Button)
Pause media trigger (shape)
Change state trigger (shape

Beware of using slide layers if you intend to publish to HTML5 output. They break audio playback (not sure about video)
