So, I may not be properly describing what I want to do, but here's a try!
I need to build a multi-module course to be housed in an LMS. I know that I can have the learner enter their name into a standard text entry box at the beginning of each module, but I was wondering if there was a way to "carry over" name (or what I really want) some data entry from a previous module. If it makes any difference, the LMS is D2L, and because of the size of the files, the SCORM would be housed in the Learning Objects Repository linking the student's instance.
I'm eager to hear how community members have created a similar interaction! Since the variables in Storyline are course-specific, there might be JavaScript workarounds for this!
Either way, I hope one of our JavaScript gurus can lend a hand!
