phantom "incorrect response" box showing up on the base

Jun 24, 2014

I have a slide on the base layer that in the story line/editing view that has a box that I didn't put there.  It's the "incorrect response" box.  It doesn't show up in the preview mode; the students can't see it, but there it is while I'm working on it!  When I go to my layers, or the time line, it isn't there either, just on the base layer in the middle of my slide!  This has happened a couple of times and is more of an irritant than anything else, but I'd like to know how it got there and how to get rid of it.  Thanks!

Hi Beth - welcome to Heroes!

Without seeing your SL file, it sounds like you have both the base layer and the incorrect feedback layer visible. If you look at the layers panel in the bottom-right, is there an eye icon next to the incorrect feedback layer?

If it is an eye icon, click on this to 'close' the eye.

If this doesn't resolve your issue, are you able to upload your .story file (or just this particular slide) so we can take a closer look?
