I have created a "Pick Many" quiz in my Storyline presentation. When a wrong answer is given, can you set it back to the start, so that no selections are shown, before having another go. I don't want the user to manually deselct it.
You can reset the slide and selected choices by changing the Try Again slide layer's trigger from "Hide this layer" to "Jump to slide" where you jump to the same slide.
Then, on the base layer, select the slide properties (gear icon) and change the slide to Reset to initial state.

Hi Colin -
You can reset the slide and selected choices by changing the Try Again slide layer's trigger from "Hide this layer" to "Jump to slide" where you jump to the same slide.
Then, on the base layer, select the slide properties (gear icon) and change the slide to Reset to initial state.
Here's a quick overview of how that works:
Great so far. Thanks. However, I want to limit attempts to 2. When the quiz resets, it also resets the number of attempts.
Is it possible to reset the choice selected, but also limit the number of attempts?

Was also wondering this. I've seen people do it before, but I'm not quite sure how.
I'll update if I find a solution.

Hi Bradley!
This thread is a bit dated.
I know that there is a similar thread and Bill shares his solution in this thread if you'd like to take a look.
