I am looking for the best way to give customized feedback based on a "pick many exercise". For example, if the choices are A,B,C,D and the right answers are B and C, I would like to be able to tell them they missed C if they only pick B, or tell them they made a wrong choice if they pick the right ones plus one wrong, etc. Any projects or templates out there where someone found the best way to do this? Thanks!
Hi Anne! To get you started, you can create some custom Feedback masters with different layouts depending on the feedback you want to present. You'd probably create a layer with each feedback layout you'd want to present, and use variables to determine which layer is shown based on the learner's selection. You'll want to make sure to allow for additional attempts so that they can retry (if you'd like them to have another shot).
It'd be great if someone in the community has accomplished this and can share an example!
Thanks Crystal. Appreciate it.
This was actually the path I started down (glad to know I wasn't way off!), but I didn't quite understand what to do after creating T/F variables and assigning them as such after a user click for each object; I didn't see a way to show layer/result slide A if they clicked 1, 3, and 5 or B if they clicked 2, 3, and 4, etc. Haven't done this before so I imagine I am missing something obvious.
You should be able to use a trigger with a condition to determine which layer of the results slide to show, but it's specific/dependent on your set up. Perhaps you could share a copy of your .story file here with us and our team or the community can take a look?

Check out the try again layer on this interaction.
It is a pick many, customized to look like a drag and drop.
