I am trying to give feedback to users on a new slide later in the lesson depending upon which answers they checked on the Pick Many Interaction. I only want the ones they selected to show up in my later slide. See screenshots.
this is a common request I see in the forums and unfortunately I don't think there has been an easy way of achieving it (maybe Javascript but I'm not sure) as there isn't a way of moving objects position on another slide based on selection. The cheats way I do it is to keep the list of all items but change the state of the 'non chosen' ones to very light grey so they are obviously faded.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with a better way for you but in the interim here is my cheat's way.
Thank you so much for your help. I have 1 issue with this. Suppose a user selects Choice A and Choice B, but then changes his/her mind and un-selects Choice A. Your second slide still shows Choice A as being selected. Can the second slide show only the final choices if a user changes their mind on slide 1?
without knowing all your requirements it's always hard to supply a sample that covers everything. Now that you've clarified how you want it to work I've updated the file.
I added Scene 2 that uses a Toggle variable (only checkbox A has been triggered) so you can see if that works how you want.
Thank you so much! I also found a clever work around by changing the variable after clicking on the Next button using a condition that the checkbox ix selected.
