I have been trying to figure out why some of my Pick Many quiz slides aren't returning learner answers to LMS. The only difference I can spot between one that works and one that doesn't is that the option buttons have states that change to normal if another option is selected - but I can't see why or how this would affect the data received via LMS - any help appreciated!
HI Alyssa, this question type, specific to our project isn't returning any learner answers to the LMS. This is only the case in some of the Pick Many questions - and when comparing I can not differentiate between ones that work and ones that don't work.
I have contacted the support team and they could see the same problem with the slide but they couldn't find the logic behind it either. Instead I've been advised to create it from scratch but I have tried this and have fallen upon the same issue. We'll have to edit the question to fit around a simpler question type perhaps.
Thanks for clarifying that, Anita. I see you've been working through this with Victor, and he advised you to start off with fewer answer choices. Then, run a quick test to make sure they work. You can then increase their numbers as you go along.
Also, as a general reminder, please make sure that your project file is saved locally on your machine when your editing or publishing it. Let us know how it goes!
If you are still running into trouble or need any more help, feel free to reach out to Victor in your case.
Yeah, I've been communicating with Victor and have tried previous suggestions. Unfortunately, we can't afford to spend anymore time with testing the issue ( I have slides with fewer questions that don't work and slides with more questions that do work) so we've had to resort to changing the quiz type. Do keep me updated if and when Articulate find the bug/logic.

Hi Anita!
Can you tell me a bit more about what's happening in your LMS? Is the LMS marking the Pick Many question incorrect when it should be marked correct?
I hosted your sample file on SCORM Cloud for testing, and it seemed to work well there. Can you test this link, as well?
Let me know how it goes!
