Picture> Screenshot option not visible

hello. I am unable to insert a screenshot on my slides because the Screenshot option goes away when I open the application page (it's an SAP page) that I want a screenshot of.

Insert > Picture > Screenshot (this goes missing)

Only the Picture from File option remains. 

Can someone tell me why this could be happening?

 

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • Is the app or browser window open on your computer? Minimized windows won't appear in the thumbnail list.
  • Do you run into this behavior in a new project file?
  • What version of Storyline are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline.

Pls find below:

Is the app or browser window open on your computer? Minimized windows won't appear in the thumbnail list - Yes the app window is open.

Do you run into this behavior in a new project file? Yes the same behavior in a new project as well. As long as the SAP page is open, this problem occurs.

What version of Storyline are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline. Storyline 3 Update 6

Thanks for the additional information. It sounds like you're doing everything correctly.

Do you have a screen capture tool that you can use to capture what you are seeing?  

From the open window to what you see when inserting?

If you need to keep this private, you can share it here (just be sure to include a link to this conversation).

In the meantime, you should be able to grab that screenshot for your project in the same way and insert as an image.
