I was doing this yesterday and there did not seem to be any pixel shift but maybe I was imagining it. I am pasting a title and frame around a course that I want in the same position. It is offsetting everything by 10 pixels. You can not paste in place? Thanks!
This is a software simulation course and I was able to get the placeholder text to appear above the recording but not the shape I am using behind it. The screen recordings are sort of bounded to the slides.
If you're still wrestling with this, could you share a sample slide or a screenshot here? I'd like to get a better idea of your slide layout and what you're looking to do. Thanks!
I tried recreating the problem in Storyline 360, but I'm not having any luck so far. Can you check out this Peek and let me know what you're doing differently?
If you could also record a Peek of what you're seeing, that would be really helpful!

If you have Storyline 360 use ctrl+shift+d to paste in place
Hmmm, Seems to be pasting in place now. Not sure why. I have two monitors maybe that is the issue?
Besides that, what about putting it in the slide master? Unless it needs to sit overtop of everything.

Will do, it was consistently doing it and now consistently not doing it. If it comes up again I will capture it.
Okay, I was able to recreate this. It is when your object is larger than the stage. It pushes it on to the stage by about 10 pixels. Hope this helps.

I was pasting a Storyline rectangle shape that was not filled but has a 3 pixel stroke.
Under a deadline today but if the issue comes up I will do a peek recording.

Just talking about it has apparently fixed it :). Have not seen it happen today.
