Pixelation in player

Nov 20, 2012

Hi everyone,

Can anybody tell me why there is pixelation of certain elements in my design when I review it in the player. The images look fine when in normal view but when I preview the slide there is pixelation on certain elements.

Is there perhaps a work around for this. The elements that are pixelated are all either png24s or 100% quality jpgs.

Thanks for all the great help with my previous posts.

Hi Royston,

Have you tried publishing the presentation? Sometimes images may not show clearly when previewing, so it's best to test your courses in the environment for which they're intended. If the images or content are still not displaying properly after publishing, ensure that the images or content you're using is local. If you work off of an external source (network, USB, etc) it may cause issues with content you add to the course.

If you've confirmed that the content is local and that this still happens after publishing, could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? This will give me a better idea of what's happening to the images. (You can take a screenshot by pressing ALT+Print Screen. Then paste (CTRL+V) into a Word document). When you're ready to post the screenshot, just reply to this thread and use the paperclip icon along the top of the new message.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for the replies, I was about to post screenshots of what I was busy with but then first tried publishing the course as you said I should try Christine, and that solved everything. Very relieved I was so thanks very much, I was trying everything besides that, haha.

Thanks for all the great help,

Royston
