I want to zoom into some of the headings in this document, but it doesn't seem to matter what size or format I import the image as it just pixilates when I use the zoom region tool. I have tried things suggested in other posts, but no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty with this. I do see some reports specific to HTML5 output and zoom regions and I'd like to take a look.
What version of Storyline are you utilizing?
Are you inserting that picture or is that an image of what you're using as an example?
Thanks for sharing the image here. I recorded a quick Peek* of what I'm seeing, and I wanted to point out the best practices for working with image. Bottom line - You'll want to insert the best quality image you have at the size you'd like it to display.
* The video I shared demonstrated the published output and preview for HTML5.
If you're using the zoom it's best when you resize an image in Storyline so it's smaller than the original, you can add a zoom icon to it, which lets learners see the original (larger) version of the image.
Let me know if I'm misunderstanding what you're running into or if you need more help!

Hi Leslie,
I'm using Storyline 3. I am inserting that picture into a slide. It is a pretty big file so should zoom without pixilating.
Thanks in advance for your help!
