Play button & videos

Dear community,
I need your help to create a couple of slides.
I need a play button to launch a video in a pop-up window so that the learner can choose either to watch the video or to skip it entirely and go to the next page.
Is it possible?
I tried to use a trigger with a standard button, but after having published the project, when I click it, nothing happens at all.
Thank you so much. ^_^

Hi Mary:
Embed the video in a slide that is not going to be part of your menu (you can later go into the player and delete the item from the menu).
For administrative reasons, I recommend placing it in a separate scene as well as any other slides you do not want in your menu.
Next, delete any triggers you have associated with the play video button and make a new trigger for it to launch a Lightbox window.
Finally, when publishing your project adjust the required slides to view to be -1 slide.
That should take care of it for you.
Best Regards,

Hi Mary,
It looks like Dennis has you covered here, and the lightbox would have been my recommendation as well.
