player.currentSlide() no longer works

I had written a few javascripts for help my clients report issues in my courses to our debug databse. They predominantly used player.currentSlide() variables that I was tracking down due to the lack of API documentation available from Articulate. 

These scripts no longer work and in running through the object list currentSlide() no longer seems to be available.

Does anyone have any insight into what this may have been changed to or how to access variables like player.currentSlide().sceneSlideIndex or player.currentSlide().sceneIndex
