Player help

Hi,

I purchased a template and am having player problems.  I've set it up the way I want it, but on some slides the player goes back to the way it was originally set up.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to get all the slides (content) with the same player set up?

Yes, you can do that. Go to STORY VIEW and select all the slides, and then select what you want in the Slide Properties:

The thing about player is that by default all slides would just use the player defaults. I think that a situation like yours happens if you change those defaults for any given slide.

Hi Veronica,

I had an issue where I added some survey questions and couldn’t work out why my quizzes were not working properly. Finally I found that the reporting was unchecked for all questions in the report properties for each module. So I went through manually to correct this, but what I found was that when I went back into each module there was the odd question that was unchecked. I did this a few times and once it was okay, but often there were the odd questions that unchecked themselves.

How do I ensure that this doesn’t happen?

Hi Ian,

It sounds like when selecting which questions to be scored in your results slide; you're finding that some questions get automatically unchecked, correct?

Are you comfortable with sharing your .story file for testing? That'll help us figure out what settings may be causing this to happen.

You can share it privately with our support engineers, and we'll delete it when we nail down what's going on!

Thanks, I am still waiting for a response to this issue which really is
frustrating as it's so random and continues to occur!!!

I don't have confidence in anything I publish and have to go through 100
questions every time to check that they are all checked in the course
results settings.
