Player issue
Jun 20, 2016
So i have created a presentation with a second scene within it. I have the separate scene set as "Resources" on the player tab for them to look at files as they wish. I have a trigger to return to the previous slide they were viewing within the separate scene. When i go to slide properties i have slide advances by user and when revisiting to Automatically. So when they return from the resources tab that is a separate scene it auto replays. Then when i switch the when revisiting to resume saved state it will return from the separate scene properly and resume as i left off but than the replay button will not work. Tried several options and looking for help now. Thanks for any help !

Hi Tristan!
Hi, Tristan -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your difficulties! May I ask if you are testing the course in the intended environment as described here after you publish? It may also be a bit easier to illustrate what you are experiencing if you were able to share your file. If privacy is a concern, you are welcome to use this form to upload for private review.
Have you considered having that resources slide shown as a lightbox, instead of a new scene?
Then you are only dealing with the built-in close button instead of back/return etc.
Hi Tristan!
I see where you reached out via the link that Christie shared above and I have responded to you via e-mail.
Scott, How do you make it into a lightbox?
On any trigger that you currently have pointing to your "resources" page, change the action from "Jump to slide" to "Lightbox slide."
Now instead of your resources slide appearing in a pathway between two other slides, it appears above any current slide that you are on.
Turn off any navigation controls, either in the trigger wizard or on the slide properties panel for the resources slide. You won't need them now, since a lightbox slide has its own built-in close button.
Try it and see how it operates.
